The national team will be travelling to Rhode Island from the 16th - 25th July for a series of challenge games. A training schedule will be published soon.

The trials for the Adult National Team will be held on Sunday, 18th
April from 2pm-4pm in Corkagh Park.
Anyone who will be over the age of 16 on July 1st of this year is
welcome to try out for the adult team. Anyone younger than that who's
interested in trying out will be reviewed on a case by case basis. In
order to represent Ireland in international competition, a player needs
to hold a valid Irish passport. Exceptions might be made for the US
trip if it's clear that a player will have a valid passport in place in
time for the European Championships tournament next summer.
GREEKS MUSCLE THEIR WAY TO WIN OVER IRISH (5-1)
Ireland competed well in their final game of the 2008 European Championship Qualifying campaign but fell short against a very strong and pumped up Greek team, losing 5-1 on Friday, July 11. The finals take place on Saturday with Greece facing either Russia or host nation Portugal who play one another on Friday night. Click HERE for a Boxscore of Ireland's Game 3.
IRELAND FIGHT BACK BUT LOSE IN 10 INNING THRILLER 5-4
Ireland scored a run in the eighth and two in the ninth to tie Russia a 4-4 but lost in 10 innings in their 2008 European Championship Qualifying second game on Thursday, July 10. Jason Hoye hit two homers for the Irish and Sean Finn pitched nine brilliant innings for the Boyz in Green. Ireland play Greece on Friday. The finals take place on Saturday. IRISH LOSE TOUGH ONE TO PORTUGAL IN EURO OPENER (11-8)
Ireland opened their 2008 European Championship Qualifying campaign with a tough loss against Portugal 11-8 on Wednesday, July 9. Ireland play Russia on Thursday and Greece on Friday. The finals take place on Saturday. Click HERE for a Boxscore of Game 1.
